Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to and from customer sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damages and discrepancies; report any issues immediately to the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and logging of stock movements.
- Package and label products securely for shipment, ensuring all documentation is correct.
- Operate warehouse machinery (including forklifts) safely and in compliance with all OSHA regulations.
- Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily productivity targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods (up to 10-15 lbs frequently, up to 50 lbs occasionally).
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners or RF guns.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to follow safety protocols strictly.
