Responsibilities
- Safely move, load, and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand tools
- Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment daily to ensure optimal performance
- Manage inventory counts and update warehouse management systems accurately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production and shipping deadlines
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces to prevent accidents
- Assist in training new team members on material handling procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse/material handling experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
