Responsibilities
- Operate electric/pneumatic forklifts with precision in high-volume warehouse environments
- Safely load/untractors and organize inventory in climate-controlled zones
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory logs using WMS systems
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety protocols 100% of the time
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during shift transitions
- Train on new equipment technologies quarterly
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong communication skills for shift handovers
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Flexibility to work overtime during peak seasons
- High school diploma or equivalent required
