Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and documentation using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company operating procedures at all times
- Assist with warehouse organization, stacking, and proper material storage techniques
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience in a warehouse setting
- Demonstrated ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality for overnight shifts
