Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move palletized materials throughout the facility
- Verify product accuracy and documentation against shipping/receiving manifests
- Load/unload trucks using proper equipment and weight distribution techniques
- Maintain clean, organized workstations and equipment per OSHA standards
- Perform routine pre/post-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with day shift team for seamless inventory transitions
- Adhere to all safety protocols including PPE requirements and aisle markings
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse/forklift experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends/holidays as needed
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
