Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach, or Pallet Jack) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload freight trucks, ensuring accurate documentation and weight distribution.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance on forklift equipment.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated storage areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with the day shift team regarding inventory levels and order status.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to work a Night Shift schedule (shift typically runs 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
