Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and organize inventory in high-volume warehouse
- Maintain accurate inventory counts using RF scanning technology and digital tracking systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Collaborate with night shift supervisors and dock teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Optimize warehouse layout to maximize storage capacity and operational efficiency
- Complete shift reports and document any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns
- Train on new warehouse technologies and process improvements
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down forklifts in warehouse setting
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory scanning systems
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Previous experience in cold storage or temperature-controlled environments preferred
