Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload palletized materials efficiently
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow during night operations
- Assist in warehouse organization and stacking of goods in designated zones
- Participate in monthly safety training and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial forklifts in warehouse settings
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Flexibility to work nights (10 PM - 6 AM) and weekends as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license preferred
