Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load/unload trucks and organize warehouse inventory
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure OSHA compliance
- Execute inventory control procedures using RF scanning systems
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and enforce safety protocols
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet nightly production targets
- Document all material movements and inventory discrepancies
- Train junior staff on equipment operation and safety standards
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (Class 1-5)
- Minimum 2 years warehouse/forklift experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 10-hour shifts
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance record
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
