Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a 500,000 sq ft distribution center
- Execute accurate inventory management using WMS systems
- Maintain OSHA compliance through daily equipment inspections
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Implement FIFO rotation for perishable goods
- Document all material movements via digital tracking systems
- Participate in quarterly safety audits and training
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year sit-down forklift experience
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Strong attention to detail in high-velocity environments
- Flexibility to work 10 PM - 6 AM schedule
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screen
- WMS system proficiency preferred
