Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload palletized goods in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Maintain accurate inventory counts using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Collaborate with night shift team to optimize loading/unloading schedules and dock assignments
- Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies to warehouse supervisor
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow 5S methodology
- Support cross-functional tasks including pallet wrapping and quality control checks
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift experience in warehouse/distribution settings
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety standards
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation and shipping documentation
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) with rotating weekends
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
