Role Overview
As a Night Shift Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our distribution center. You will ensure inventory accuracy and contribute to our 24-hour operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and stage materials for shipping.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on all equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company operational procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels using warehouse management systems.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and workflow optimization.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and hazard-free at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA preferred).
- Must be available and willing to work Night Shift schedules (e.g., 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and hazard prevention.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
