As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will ensure the seamless flow of inventory, maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency in a 24/7 distribution center.
Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and dock areas.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and safety equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Stack and organize pallets efficiently to maximize storage space and ensure warehouse safety.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and hazardous material handling procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) reliably.
- Strong understanding of safety guidelines and warehouse operations.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
