Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock counts and documenting discrepancies.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Inspect equipment before and after shifts to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues.
- Collaborate with the night shift team to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments.
- Keep the warehouse area clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CL / CDL) license or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to work night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) consistently.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and warehouse procedures.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
