Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load and unload freight trucks and move materials within the warehouse.
- Safety Compliance: Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations.
- Inventory Management: Accurately stock inventory, pick orders, and ensure proper labeling and documentation of stock movement.
- Area Maintenance: Keep the warehouse aisles, dock area, and storage zones clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Quality Control: Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments to prevent errors and damages.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must hold a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (forklift license).
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM) on a consistent basis.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work independently.
