Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environments
- Load/unload trucks and containers with precision using pallet jacks and overhead cranes
- Perform pre-shift inspections and basic equipment maintenance documentation
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and cycle count documentation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company lockout/tagout procedures
- Collaborate with overnight team to optimize dock schedules and material flow
- Utilize WMS systems for real-time inventory tracking and reporting
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse/forklift operations
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness for narrow-aisle navigation
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems (RF scanning preferred)
- Flexibility to work 10pm-6am schedule with weekend rotations
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
