Responsibilities
- Operate electric and diesel forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure safety compliance and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and updating the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Organize stock, stack pallets securely, and ensure aisles are clear for safe pedestrian and vehicle navigation.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (OSHA certification required).
- 1+ years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong physical stamina to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and stock management.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
