Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently in a night shift environment.
- Load and unload trailers, pallets, and containers with precision and care.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure operational safety and compliance with OSHA standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as required.
- Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the morning shift team to ensure a seamless transition of goods.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator license (OSHA compliant) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety protocols and inventory accuracy.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
