Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move inventory.
- Load and Unload Trucks: Accurately load and unload inbound and outbound freight, ensuring cargo security.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by staging and organizing stock in designated areas.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Packaging and Labeling: Properly package, label, and prepare products for shipment using standard packaging materials.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure they meet quality standards before processing.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leads and other operators to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We provide on-the-job training for qualified candidates. A forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Basic English communication skills are required for safety instructions.
