Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to efficiently move palletized goods in 24/7 warehouse environment
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and company equipment handling procedures
- Perform pre-shift inspections and document equipment maintenance logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading schedules
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and documentation
- Support inventory control through cycle counts and stock rotation
- Respond immediately to safety incidents and hazardous material situations
Qualifications
- OSHA-certified forklift operator license (valid and current)
- Minimum 2 years experience in warehouse/material handling roles
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and emergency procedures
- Proficiency with warehouse technology (RF scanners, WMS systems)
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and overtime as required
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification a plus
