Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (PIT) safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Organize and stack inventory in designated storage areas to maximize space utilization.
- Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and document any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and distribution targets.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (CDL preferred).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Basic math and reading skills for inventory counting and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
