Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to safely load, unload, and transport materials to designated storage areas.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections and maintenance checks on all forklift equipment.
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to maintain accurate inventory counts.
- Ensure the warehouse floor remains organized, clean, and free of trip hazards at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the night shift team to meet daily production and shipping deadlines.
- Assist in the preparation of orders for shipping and receiving.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
