Responsibilities
- Operate electric and diesel forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate stock placement in designated storage areas.
- Perform pre-shift inspections on forklifts to ensure machinery is in safe operating condition.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding warehouse operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent hazards and ensure smooth workflow.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10 preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating heavy industrial equipment in a warehouse setting.
- Schedule: Availability to work nights (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM), including weekends and holidays.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and navigate tight spaces.
- License: Valid Driver’s License (Class B non-commercial is a plus).
