Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift safety inspections of the forklift and work area.
- Manage inventory accuracy by counting stock and logging warehouse data into the system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace to ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Assist in the preparation and organization of pallets for shipping and receiving.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (OSHA compliant) or willingness to complete on-site training.
- Ability to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) reliably.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
- Valid driver's license (preferred but not always required).
