Responsibilities
- Operational Efficiency: Safely and efficiently load, unload, and move merchandise to and from the warehouse.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in stock rotation to ensure product freshness and availability.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery in compliance with safety regulations.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and ensure proper labeling.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and shift supervisors to resolve issues and optimize workflow.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with barcode scanners or warehouse software is a plus.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
