Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Trucks: Safely load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Pick, Pack, and Ship: Accurately pick orders, verify product quantities, and prepare packages for shipping to meet daily targets.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery (e.g., forklifts, scanners) in compliance with safety regulations and company protocols.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines, wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and maintain a clean work environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to resolve issues and improve workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Required; equivalent work experience considered.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and data entry.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform basic calculations for inventory and shipping purposes.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license preferred but not required for general warehouse duties.
