Your Role
As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe operation of material handling equipment. We are looking for reliable individuals who can work well in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials: Utilize forklifts and pallet jacks to handle inventory with precision and care.
- Maintain safety standards: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe workplace.
- Inventory management: Help organize stock, check for damaged goods, and update inventory logs accurately.
- Equipment maintenance: Perform routine inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Cleanliness: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of hazards.
- Team collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.
- Quality control: Ensure that all products are properly tagged and ready for shipping or storage.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic Math: Comfortable reading labels, tags, and performing basic math calculations.
- Willingness to Learn: No prior forklift experience required; we will train you.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Must be focused on safety and accuracy during operations.
