Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections to verify that machinery is in proper working condition.
- Organize and stack inventory efficiently to optimize storage space and streamline operations.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to undergo on-site forklift certification training.
- Basic literacy and comprehension skills for reading safety documents.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Chicago worksite.
