Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure all machinery is in safe working condition.
- Verify incoming and outgoing inventory accuracy using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Organize stock in designated storage areas to maximize space utilization and retrieval speed.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and productivity targets.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License (Class C) required.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Communication: Basic English reading and comprehension skills for safety instructions and inventory checks.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work a full-time schedule (rotating shifts available).
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required for entry-level candidates.
