Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the accurate counting and stocking of inventory, ensuring proper organization and labeling.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure working environment for all employees.
- Pick and Pack: Fulfill customer orders efficiently by picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment during the busy night shift.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately to supervisors.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and debris-free workspace to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old to operate heavy machinery.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a consistent basis.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and eagerness to obtain forklift certification on the job.
