Responsibilities
- Safely Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Verify Inventory by checking products against work orders and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Load and Unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols to prevent damage to goods.
- Maintain a Clean Work Environment by keeping the warehouse organized and free of hazards.
- Follow Safety Procedures strictly, including wearing required PPE and reporting equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Perform Daily Equipment Checks to ensure forklifts are in good working condition before starting shifts.
- Collaborate with Team Members to meet daily productivity goals and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: No prior forklift experience is required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to read and interpret basic work orders and inventory lists accurately.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and have a consistent work history.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to count, add, and subtract to verify inventory and process paperwork.
- Background Check: Must be able to pass a standard background check and drug screen.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license preferred but not strictly required for the operator role.
