Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and dock areas.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure safety and proper functioning before operation.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Manage inventory by accurately counting, scanning, and verifying stock levels.
- Package and prepare shipments for delivery, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent accidents and improve workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and equipment checks.
- Driver's License: Valid state-issued driver's license is preferred but not required for the operator role.
- Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to undergo safety training and master forklift operations.
