Responsibilities
- Accurately pack and label orders according to specifications and quality standards
- Operate packaging equipment (box sealers, tape dispensers, label printers) safely and efficiently
- Perform inventory counts and report discrepancies to warehouse supervisor
- Maintain clean and organized workstations and warehouse areas
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping deadlines
- Follow safety protocols at all times including proper lifting techniques
- Utilize warehouse management system (WMS) for order tracking and documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous warehouse or packing experience preferred but not required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic math skills for inventory verification and order accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak seasons
