Responsibilities
- Pack Orders: Efficiently and accurately assemble, pack, and label customer orders to ensure safe transit.
- Quality Control: Inspect items for damage or defects before packing and verify order accuracy against packing slips.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts as required.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate handheld scanners, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep packing stations organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Shipping Preparation: Prepare shipping labels, apply barcodes, and ensure proper weight distribution.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stocking is a plus but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and the ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Basic Math Skills: Proficiency in basic arithmetic for counting and weighing items.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
