Responsibilities
- Pack products accurately according to customer orders and shipping guidelines.
- Inspect items for damage and ensure quality standards are met before shipment.
- Label packages correctly with addresses, barcodes, and handling instructions.
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse equipment (hand trucks/pallet jacks) safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety compliance (OSHA standards).
- Assist in inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize packing efficiency and workflow.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills for following pick lists and labels.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse setting.
- Willingness to work various shifts, including nights and weekends as required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not strictly required.
