Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications and company standards.
- Inspect products for quality and damage before packing to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Label packages correctly and verify shipping information against the work order.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including pallets, shelves, and equipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and handheld scanners safely.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock rotation as directed by the shift supervisor.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent workplace accidents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Previous warehouse or order fulfillment experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use scanning equipment.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Valid forklift certification (if applicable to the role).
