Responsibilities
- Pack merchandise into boxes and cartons according to safety and quality standards.
- Inspect items for defects or damage prior to packaging.
- Label packages accurately with correct shipping information.
- Operate packaging machinery and handheld scanners efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
- Follow inventory management procedures to ensure order accuracy.
- Assist in loading trucks and organizing warehouse aisles.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory counting and labeling.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure package integrity.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Willingness to learn and complete paid training.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
