Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move inventory around the warehouse.
- Inbound/Outbound Logistics: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing lists; accurately prepare and load outbound orders.
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently pick items from shelves and package them securely to ensure damage-free delivery.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and conduct cycle counts.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe environment for all employees.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for defects or damages and report discrepancies immediately to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motion tasks.
- Equipment Skills: Prior experience operating forklifts (e.g., Reach Truck, Forklift) is a plus; we will train the right candidate.
- Availability: Must be available to work 2nd or 3rd shift (Overnight) on a full-time basis.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain high accuracy standards in a fast-paced setting.
