Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move freight by hand, pallet jack, or forklift safely and efficiently.
- Package and prepare shipments for delivery, ensuring all labels and paperwork are accurate.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or defects before processing.
- Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe by adhering to all 5S protocols.
- Perform inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Operate material handling equipment (MHE) such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math and reading skills for scanning and labeling.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must be available to work overnight shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work independently in a quiet environment.
