Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move merchandise between warehouse aisles, trucks, and loading docks efficiently.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and other heavy machinery safely and in compliance with safety protocols.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments to verify accuracy and condition before storing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict accordance with OSHA standards.
- Process and prepare orders for delivery using warehouse management systems and handheld scanners.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets and operational goals.
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible shifts, specifically the overnight schedule (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not always required.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Valid driver's license is a plus but not mandatory.
