Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload pallets of frozen and refrigerated goods using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper storage placement.
- Temperature Control: Monitor and maintain strict temperature logs to ensure product integrity and safety compliance.
- Organization: Keep warehouse aisles clear, organized, and safe for efficient operations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on machinery and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work in extreme cold environments (32°F and below) and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and paperwork.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Driving (Optional):> Valid driver's license is a plus but not required for entry-level positions.
