What You'll Do
As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. You will work in a fast-paced environment where your contributions directly impact the customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently using handheld scanners.
- Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided if needed).
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and safe at all times in compliance with Amazon's safety standards.
- Rotate through various departments and tasks within the warehouse to meet operational goals.
- Inspect products for quality and damage before they are shipped to customers.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a high level of productivity and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 49 lbs repeatedly and stand or walk for long periods.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills to follow safety guidelines and operational procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for success in this role.
