Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain cold storage environments (-10°F to 30°F) using digital thermometers and HVAC systems
- Safely handle, sort, and inventory perishable goods including frozen foods and pharmaceuticals
- Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts in compliance with OSHA safety protocols
- Conduct daily sanitation procedures including power washing floors and sanitizing equipment
- Document inventory movements using WMS software and handheld scanners
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient loading/unloading of refrigerated trucks
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred but not required
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for 4+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail in temperature monitoring and documentation
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
