Responsibilities
- Maintain proper temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer units
- Inspect and load/unload perishable products using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols including HACCP standards
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct inventory counts and stock rotation procedures
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F (-23°C)
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Physical stamina for extended standing/walking
