Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature control in refrigerated storage areas (-10°F to 40°F)
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks for inventory movement
- Conduct quality checks and document inventory conditions
- Adhere to strict sanitation and safety protocols (HACCP compliant)
- Collaborate with team members for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
- Assist with routine facility maintenance and cleaning duties
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Flexibility to work weekends and early morning shifts
- Basic computer skills for inventory logging
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
