Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload and organize refrigerated products using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in cold storage zones
- Conduct accurate inventory counts and update warehouse management systems
- Enforce strict food safety protocols and sanitation standards
- Operate material handling equipment following OSHA guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipment targets
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in 32-40°F environments for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
