Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature controls in refrigerated and frozen storage zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment safely
- Perform inventory audits and stock rotation using FIFO methods
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Load/unload temperature-controlled shipments efficiently
- Document storage conditions and equipment maintenance logs
- Collaborate with team on warehouse optimization initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in -10°F to 40°F environments for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification a plus
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends as needed
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
