Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal refrigeration temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) in storage units
- Inspect, organize, and rotate inventory using FIFO principles
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and cold storage equipment safely
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs digitally
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in cold environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations
- Perform routine sanitation and sanitation of cold storage areas
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Reliable transportation to shift-based location
