Responsibilities
- Maintain proper temperature monitoring and documentation in refrigerated storage areas
- Load/unload pallets of frozen and refrigerated products using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and perform routine maintenance checks
- Inspect products for quality compliance and report any irregularities
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols (HACCP standards)
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation systems
- Maintain clean, organized storage areas following sanitation procedures
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work in cold environments (32°F-40°F) with appropriate gear
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
