Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated storage units
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to load/unload refrigerated trucks
- Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments for quality and documentation accuracy
- Organize inventory using FIFO principles in cold storage environments
- Conduct routine safety inspections of equipment and storage areas
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA compliance protocols
- Assist with inventory audits and record-keeping in cold conditions
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures (0°F to 32°F) for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- High school diploma or equivalent required
